Hello Uncle Paul. Long Long Time no see. I remember the compound pictures from our visit in 1957-8 and remember the love you put into it. Give my best to Steph and the family. Write me some time and catch back up. I am now in Arkansas pastor of a small church and working at everything. Hope all is well with everyone. Have not heard from you our Louise's since mom's death. Still display a couple of your piece of your work at my house in Fort Smith and her in Des Arc. wishing you the best mike.

Hi, paul hopefully your in good health. i worked for you back in 1998 I believe. During that summer living with you was an amazing experience that changed my perception forever. However at the time I think I was too young to realize it. Hope all is well and I now live in S. Korea if you come over, please send me an e-mail.

I miss you...all the wonderful surprises
at Rodney Mott's woodfiring workshops since 2000! I remember when we talked and you mentioned you enjoyed leading a Mendocino, Ca. workshop and wished you could have seen a "mermaid". I have a special handmade denium "mermaid" small
pouch I made and would like you to have.
Need a mailing address to send it to you! Love this site you created for sharing and hope all is well in Colorado!
L,
Kerley

  Dear Paul
After almost 10 years of "retreat", my hands are back in the depths of clay. Every moment they find their way through balance and movement, the extraordinary encounter with you in Chile shines through the mud. I still hope I will be able to cross paths with you some day.
we are all one
love

Think of you often...remembering your days on Cortes...that great kiln firing at night, throwing shadows on the logs like a stage play, the ocean and laughter as sound track...great memories xoxo

I was thrilled to get to attend two of your workshops with my daughter. One in Virginia, the DC area and the other in Mississippi. I used to have a photo of my daughter dressed up as a Munchkin for a play she was in on your lap. She said you were like Santa Claus and the look on your face. We went through Katrina/total loss like Brian Nettles. In fact, I called you once. Anyway, we are fine now, living in Arkansas.

Paul, am wondering if we just might be related. Saw your name and logo on Conrad Snider's Muddy Elbow sign outside his shop in Newton, Ks. Have lived here since 2004, prior to that in Mn. Was raised in the Emily, Mn. area and youngest of 7 children. Parents are Henry and Verna. Have been told by people that there is a'potter type' person somewhere in the family background and you seem to be much more than that. I am 71. Thanks...God bless

I met you at the Columbia Visual Art Center in Maryland, 1976, and have been a fan ever since. Do you remember Richard Lafean, my teacher? Did you participate in a grant study program at the Corcran Gallary between 1962 and 64, with Peter, Hamada, and Leach?

I saw you at Hartwick College in the 70s. Your workshop opened up my eyes. I will never forget that weekend of clay.
