"Addio,Paul. The clay art world will miss your wit, but your name lives on in the silence of the wheel I remember having the chance to use. Condolences to the Soldner clan on their loss."

"Paul, our friendship over the last 10 years has meant a great deal to me. The last time I saw you was at AMOCA in Pomona, and you were gracious enough to let me hold your wet clay and take pictures with you. The world will never know another artist/potter like you and you will be dearly missed my dear friend. I know you are working with clay in Heaven! Rest well, my friend. You will be missed. Peggy"

Rest well Paul. I hope it was a peaceful surrender to the next part of your journey. You saw the beauty and potential in all things and all people. You molded people and attitudes as you molded clay. Your love and your influence will linger long.
To the extended Soldner family I extend my sincerest condolences.

Adrienne DeAngelis

Paul was my teacher in 1973. I will never forget the dandelion wine or the skills he passed on to me. Most of all was his most significant creativity.
