"Very sad to hear of his death, he was an extraordinary artist.

His influence was felt here in Australia, he will be missed."

"Thanks for all you mentoring, teaching and friendship ... liked the wine too.

Dear Stephanie, Kathy and friends my thoughts are with you. I have photos from my days at the Aspen Times if you want them too.

Thank you Paul for all that you brought to this world. You will be missed but your spirit will live on in everyone that you influenced in clay and in life. I will never forget the first time I met you and I'll carry that with me always. I hope you are in a meadow of forever dandelions basking in the glow.

"My deepest sympathies to Paul's family. I will miss Paul. I came to know him late in his life and quite late in mine...still he was my mentor and my role model as an artist. There doesn't seem to be a day that goes by in my work that I don't think about Paul, his work, and his teaching. He has greatly influenced my work."
